Our Waldorf are still made just like they were 100 years ago, individually handmade of natural materials. Wool, cotton, colour and particularly by the loving handwork that brings the doll to life. They are unique as children. By playing with dolls, children develop their imagination and creativity. Waldorf dolls are supposed to give them natural impressions that stimulate imagination and fantasy. A child should grow up in a natural environment. The neutral features of a Waldorf doll help to develop a child's imagination to see the doll laughing, crying, sleeping, and being happy or sad. This way, the child gives the doll its soul. Hair made of Mohair (curly) or Boucle which is a type of yarn, usually three-ply and having one thread looser than the others, that produces a rough-textured cloth. This can easily be styled with your fingers.
